Actually now that I think a bit, I don't think the finger is the main source of my dislike, I probably hate babies more... again, nothing wrong with babies, people should see all the babies in the world in all the avatars and look at them all day long for what I care, I just want the possibility to put you on the ignore list and get rid of your avatar without having to recourse to some inconvenient means like using adblock or having to disable all the avatars.

I'm seriously tired of this crap!

Here is a free tip: Use an adblocker. There are (and have been) a whole bunch of avatars I don't like here, even a few I find offensive. Guess what I do? I block them at my end because it's not fair to demand that every one else should adapt to my personal quirks.

And now some of you probably will try to find something really nasty to use as an avatar. That of course will get it deleted and we'll get a new discussion about how unfair it is that someone can have a baby showing the finger but you can not have tubgirl. Well, that's life...

I now want this to stop. Go outside, get some fresh air, go hiking in the woods, take your wife/ husband/ girlfriend/ boyfriend to dinner, enjoy life for a while... and soon a silly little avatar, or even silly little person, on the internet seem mighty irrelevant.

Last I recall, you used Opera. You can do individual image blocking with Opera very easily (no add-on required). It's dead easy: http://operawiki.info/BlockAdvertisements. (There are fancier methods too, but this one works well for one-off blocking of a single image or item.)

It's funny: I saw that image a lot too (when it was Dean's avatar), but I never thought the kid was giving me the finger. I leave it as an exercise for the reader to decide who I thought the baby was flipping off...
