Quick Reply

I am regular in my local country forum. There we have a option of Quick reply, where we don't need to redirect page to post, in that particular page we get the option to post. It is also available in ubuntuforum. Can this thing be applied here. It will be helpful for us who have to pay a lot for a low bandwidth.

Can we have a bean system? http://ubuntuforums.org got one!

I got a crappy limited Internet which I pay a crap load for. The extra kilobytes saved are little. Plus browser cache works wonders.

Quick hint for the OP.
Never ever use that bad word involving this other distro!
There seems to be a strange obsession going on regarding it which cause allergic reactions as it seems!
Hope it's not contagious.

So I'd advise to edit your post

It is also available in "X"forum

With "X" standing for anything but this one bad word!

Why should the original poster change if the others are stupid?

Quick reply is available, if the regime would like to enable it. It's their call. I don't see the big deal, but if the butnut forum does it, it must be better. :P
I wish for a conjugal visit and world peace. (Don't want to seem selfish.)

While we're at it, lets add a testimonial section, a special section for Apple users, hordes of members that do not even run the OS the forum is associated with...
Yes, indeed, having huge numbers of Arch Linux users and Arch Linux topics in the Debian forum is a great idea - and all of this just because Ubuntu forums does.

We get the idea. Seriously.

You're not ever going to stop people mentioning Ubuntu by doing this to every damn thread.
The Forum's search box is terrible. Use site specific search, e.g.

I think wisest of men, may change, as they are reasonable... What we are dealing with here, is the second type... You win!

If you continue to keep trying to turning each thread into an Ubuntu flamewar I will be forced into a position of treating you like we would any forum troll. Please, do the both of us a favor and back off on doing this.

Secondly, and more seriously, DO NOT personally attack people on this forum.
