Hi there,
Do you need any softwares? We have many kinds of software keys in stock, such as windows 7, Norton, office and so on. And we also provide free download link for all of our keys. Please view our website for details if you have interest in any of them: www(dot)<facepalm>(dot)com
And if you have any questions about anything, please be free to contact us via our website. Will reply as soon as possible.
Thanks for your time and have a nice day!
... from a zero post user.
Does that mean they are banned already?

Or can new users pm us without posting?
Other forums have restrictions on pm's until 10 posts or such.

I got one of these. You mean it wasn't some kind-hearted person wanting to make sure I had softwares (sic)?

Don't worry just yet, Randicus. I got my PM spam a day before DLN got his, so maybe they're going alphabetically (if really, really slowly). Maybe they just haven't gotten to the "Rs" yet.

If it'd make you feel better, I'd be happy to share my PM spam. I'm not using it right now.

Or I could change my log-in name to zzzrandicus. That would move me to the bottom of the list. With a few thousand spam accounts to go through in the members' list, it would be quite a while before the spam PM would reach me.

Maybe you just don't have enough posts to be worthy of spam.

So... your "butt" felt popular and that is why you befriended him/her? Scary, mate, pretty scary.

The moral is: Never trust MySpell.

I have also mused that the butnut troops might be responsible for the deluge of spam that this forum has been under lately . . .

Unlikely. If Shuttleworth's faithful followers were behind it, the spam would probably all include links to Amazon, hoping the hits would earn money for Canonical, and Ubuntu One trophies for the spammers.

Aha, yeah I remember when those were announced. I could not for the life of me see any reason why that exists. Well same for KDE activities as well. Makes me confused. :)

KDE activities?
That's a new one for me. What do they award? Gear-and-K symbols?

I am sure I know which members of that forum the trophies are targeted at. Although beans and trophies strikes me as a little over-kill.

Tramadol wrenched snick and Norvasc, whatever they are, and Acetaminophen and Soma chairs.

So much for the butnut conspiracy theory.

Activities isn't an awards thing, just a useless feature bloating code. It lets you run a different plasma setup during your current session. This would be useful perhaps for folk that use plasma a LOT. I personally don't give a crap about the feature, nor see any valid use case for real people. But I am going off topic, sorry. :)
