Retiring from forums.debian.net

#1 Post by dewsalad »

Good afternoon, all -

I am retiring from forums.debian.net; it turns out that Xubuntu 12.04 is a better fit for my needs.

Thank you to everyone who has assisted me during my short time here.

Leaving after 8 posts isn't retiring. At best, it's quitting. You quitter.

At least the person included a thank you for the help received in the farewell post. Although the farewell was unnecessary, the thank you was considerate.

Your welcome, good bye and good luck. :)

I agree, the OP had the decency/respect for our community to give thanks for the help (s)he received whilst here.

Because they have found a distro better suited to their needs, they are leaving us, but will most likely be joining their new community.

Yes and Saline is prolly the best Xfce distro from Debian I've seen. Anthony has done a superb job with Debian Squeeze and Xfce.

This has been a none paid advertisement from a user of both distros.

There is no need for you to leave because you are changing distribution of GNU/Linux. At the end of the day we are all still using the same operating system.

+1

I always felt Linux was the family but I was feeling kind of lonesome...
