compiz on wheezy

Postby ricardo13aa » 2014-07-13 19:52

just come to share the way I install my "compiz" in my "debian wheezy". download packages from ubuntu official website and even though "libmetacity" asks dependencies, only ignore.

packages to install are as follows (in the order shown):

compiz-core
compiz-gnome
libdecoration0
compiz-plugins-default
libboost-serialization1.46.1
compiz-plugins
libcompizconfig0
compizconfig-backend-gconf
python-compizconfig
python-central
compizconfig-settings-manager
compiz-plugins-extra

I include the link to use the packages (i386). packages also include additional effects and the configuration file of my "debian"

Ubuntu packages on Debian? Not a good idea. Do so at your own risk.
May the FORK be with you!
