The Linux Documentation Project is a great collection of helpful information

The How-Tos from the Linux Documentation Project are also available as Debian packages.
You can install the How-Tos in html format with
# apt-get install doc-linux-html

If you want the package in another language than English, search for the package that you want with:
# apt-cache search doc-linux

After you have the package installed, open the index file in your favorite web browser and add a bookmark.
file:///usr/share/doc/HOWTO/en-html/HOWTO-INDEX/index.html

hey thanks for this tip! I'm using Debian for almost year now, but didn't realize that there is package for documentation so I don't have to check web all the time when I need some HOWTO

I'm downloading this package already.
