I am at a loss here: How do i change the default cryptsetup hashing algorithm the debian-installer uses when you select LUKS? The used one is SHA1 which I feel is rather unpleasant compared to SHA512 or whirlpool. Where is the cryptsetup-script from the installer located and how to modify it? Setting the --iter-time would be nice too.
Background: I am on an UEFI system (Debian live wont work) trying to get dual-boot with win10 running, separate HDDs for the 2 OS.
Help is greatly appreciated.
Scheduled Maintenance: We are aware of an issue with Google, AOL, and Yahoo services as email providers which are blocking new registrations. We are trying to fix the issue and we have several internal and external support tickets in process to resolve the issue. Please see: viewtopic.php?t=158230
Debian-installer with custom LUKS settings?
Re: Debian-installer with custom LUKS settings?
Here are a couple of old discussions that might help. I always take the defaults, but there is a way to change the parameters of the encrypted volume.
