Is it possible to download a live iso for Debian Stretch?

I was going to install Debian 9 Stretch but would like to try it first with a live iso, but haven't been able to find any download links. It looks like there is no option to try first, is that correct?

I don't think so.

Is it possible to download a live iso for Debian Stretch?

Looks like they are thinking about it, and maybe there will be.
In the near future, live DVDs will be built for stretch (the current Debian testing distribution) although these are not currently available.

It is not very hard to down load a ISO and make your own "live" CD,
there is even some instructions on doing that here:
https://wiki.debian.org/LiveCD

No , that is not correct, there are some options.
You could install it to a VM, and try it first on that.
You could also install it to a USB device, boot with the USB device, and try it with that.
A portable USB hd is best for that.
And then you could make a "live" CD, as well, also you can make a "live" USB drive.

There are no stretch live ISOs from Debian. To get stretch or sid, install jessie Live "official" or "unofficial / non-free" and update/upgrade/dist-upgrade a stage at a time.
