Duelboot Problems
Hey first thanks of all for checking out my post, Anyways ive been trying to DuelBoot Debian 8 & Windows 8.1 (windows for gaming) Only problem is when i install Debian to my new Hard Drive there's no option to boot into Linux only Windows.. ive followed tutorials online that tell me to Disable UEFI mode & Disable Fast startup which ive tried... But sadly following the tutorials don't give me an option to disable boot into UEFI mode any suggestions are welcomed and sorry if this is in the wrong area of the Forums im quite new to this.. Thanks -IceCold

Re: Duelboot Problems
If your system has UEFI, you can't disable it as it is what starts the computer, but you can enable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) to let it boot from MBR on legacy systems. If Windows was installed in standard UEFI mode (it probably was) you will need to install Debian the same. I'm sure there are plenty of instructions on the internets to do this.
Hints -
- Disable Secure Boot and fastboot
- Make sure installer boots in UEFI mode - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2988 ... fi-install
- Live Debian does not support UEFI, use DVD1 if you want a complete desktop.
UEFI installation is pretty easy really. Good luck!

Re: Duelboot Problems
Can you boot from CD/DVD/USB media? If you can, try booting with Super Grub2 Disk: http://www.supergrubdisk.org/super-grub2-disk/
Openbox, JWM: Jessie, Sid, Arch / Win XP (on VirtualBox), 10
