What did you do during "clean installation of windows 10"? Where had your important data existed before the clean installation?
Did you keep the partition(s) which contains your important data untouched during the clean installation?

And please answer. Are you trolling or a stupid person really?

Yes, that is normal, Windows is mal ware, and when you install it , it has to
overwrite the entire drive, As far as I know, but then I never use that kind
of mal ware, but from what I have heard , it (windows) must be installed
first, you then resize the partition, and create a new one , where you install
the other OS,
I need to setup a dual boot without loosing any files
Then you need to make a back up of everything, FIRST, that way if
and when things go wrong, you do not lose any files. There is no
other way to be sure you will not lose any files.

Even experts, and those that know how to setup the partitions, and
install the windows first, then the other OS, do this.
Some one that does not know what they are doing, and does not read
any documentation before they start , learns the lesson the hard way.
Hope you learned something,... and better luck next time.
Actually , "luck" has very little to do with it. Before you try it again,
do some research, make a back up.
Then it really is a good idea to setup a VM, and try it on that first, if
everything goes ok, and you fell like you have the "steps" down, then
you are ready to try it on the real HD.

But also, look for the right forums, this is "
Debian User Forums
"
Installation, yes, but it is intended for Debian users, having problems
installing Debian.
Installing Windows, and "Kali", has absolutely nothing to do with
installing Debian.
All though the "Make a Back up FIRST", applies to any OS , and needs
to be done , before trying to install another OS on top of or along side
of another.

When you performed a clean install of Windows 10, I hope you were careful not to overwrite your Kali partition. Assuming that you Kali partition is still there, I suggest booting your computer from a live Linux disk (My preference being Debian) and backing up any data that you would like to save. Then, assuming your clean install of Windows 10 is working, install a good desktop linux on the Linux partition that had your old Kali on it. FYI, Kali is a poor choice of Linux for desktop use, it should be used as a live operating system for testing only.

As I'm sure you know by now, this is not the Kali forum. It is the Debian forum. Debian is an excellent desktop Linux, but you might want to consider Ubuntu, Fedora, or mint, if you would like something that is probably a little more straight forward and simpler to install. Each Linux has it's own forum where you can get help. If and when you want to use Kali, you should be booting it from a DVD, CD or USB drive, and using it for penetration testing, or whatever, and not as a desktop operating system.

Really a robot? http://forums.debian.net/search.php?aut ... 2&sr=posts
I wonder if rickman is a very stupid person who clean-installed Windows 10 without understanding what s/he is doing.
Photorec may be able to recover a part of important files, even if s/he deleted partition(s) which contained the important files.

I am curious why stupid newbies try to use kali. To hide their porn videos? ;)

@kiyop - Mr. Robot is a very popular TV show which features hacking in to major organisations' computers. They use Kali so it is likely the reason for Kali's surge in popularity with script kiddies.
Great TV show btw.

Windows will always write over the boot loader of any installed operating system, and will write over the other operating system itself if you're not very careful. Best to install Windows first and then install other OS.
