[SOLVED] stretch installation DVDs missing from repo

#1 Post by tgj »

I need a package from debian-9.1.0-i386-DVD-14.iso or debian-update-9.1.0-i386-DVD-1.iso, listed under https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/cu ... /list-dvd/.

Apart from DVD 1-3, no DVDs are present in https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/cu ... 6/iso-dvd/, although checksums for all DVDs are listed.

Please advice.

Some Images are missing! Only the first n images are available! Where is the rest?

We don't store/serve the full set of ISO images for all architectures, to reduce the amount of space taken up on the mirrors. You can use the jigdo tool to recreate the missing ISO images instead.

Do you have no internet? It should be easy to install directly from the repo using a package manager like apt or Synaptic.

I am using apt, but with DVDs, as the host is on an isolated network.
