That's why I stick with Gigabyte motherboards.
@SHS Glad to see you got it working. Does the bios have a setting to set it to "fail safe settings" or something like that. That will usually take everything down to where it should run almost anything.
UPDATE - The BIOS version on the board is the latest version available. Though I had it running good with the FX-4350, my gf sent me a new fx - 4300 and I installed it tonight(dang those heat sink fins are sharp). Went into the bios and set optimum settings, then booted up. She's running like a top! No probs with Debian 9.2 or Ubuntu 14.04, I think it is; I rarely use the Ubuntu any more. Thanks guys!
