You do not need to give a domain name.

You can use any name you want, or leave it blank, I generally use my name,
Like it says, "

Code: Select all

If you are not sure, just make one up, but it is a good idea to use the same name on all your computers
"
You can copy / paste the above into a translator, and translate to your language.
You can also change the domain name later, or add it, later. By editing the
/etc/hostname file, (I think it is, to be honest don't rememebr exactly)
but

Code: Select all

man hostname
goes into it.
