Debian install on ibm x336

Hello
I’m having a problem installing Debian on my ibm eserver x336
It gives error “Failed to execute /init (error -2) and locks up the server
The specs of the server
4gb ECC registered ram
148.6gb ibm option u320 x2 hdd
Rest is stock
i will post an image of the error tomorrow when I’m on my laptop next

I guess that you are using the AMD64 Debian image for the installation as the IBM x336 has Intel Xeon 64 bit processors.
Does the computer boot from the image and give the error at some point before allowing you to install?
Please provide as much detail as possible about what you do before this error message.

The installer loads just fine but once you go for any of the install options it gives that error and locks up the server
I burnt the Debian iso to a dvd-r and I’ll check I’ve used the right one
