Hello everyone!
some info on how i installed
I had a new laptop Asus n552vw fi202t and I installed Debian 9.something from the official iso (without the additional non free firmware).
In order to make it work i needed to add some non-free firmware and the installation went flawlessly.
Post install I installed https://wiki.debian.org/Bumblebee with the primus (the open source driver)
and all was ok.
I modify my source.list in order to have update on the non-free firmware i had installed during the installation.
At this point it was all working well.
Than i updated and with the update i had my kernel changed.
When i boot with the new kernel i arrive to the gnome login screen but if i try to login it friezes with the fans spinning on 100%. (it's completely frozen i cannot tty.)
When i choose the old kernel from grub. I can login and use it normally.
Can some one give me some tips on how to resolve?
Thanks
P.S. sources.list
