#1 Post by Bolo »

Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a chance to install Rofi 1.5 on Debian 9? If it is how can this be done?
Thanks in advance for any reply.

It's available in Buster, so you could backport it.

Whenever I run

Code: Select all

sudo apt -t stretch-backports install rofi
I got:
rofi is already the newest version (1.3.1-2).

Am I doing something wrong?

you can check for yourself which version the backport provides.

why do you think you need the newest version?

The 1.3 version does not use icons and a couple less meaningful functionalities.

How can I check the version of the backport?
