Booting from HDD

I have a Dell G5 laptop with a 126GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. I installed Debian on the HDD, but I can't seem to boot from it. How can I fix this?

Welcome to the forum. There are many threads on here about problems booting, and what to check when debian won't boot. Some people get help by posting diagnostic and other details about their hardware or installation method, and later post the solution and mark their thread as solved, so I would check those posts first.
