Wheezy how to install Zend Optimizer php 5.6

Postby goeth » 2018-12-05 10:35

Hi
I tried to install the Zend optimizer in php 5.6 and apache2. I have downloaded ZendGuard-7.0.0-linux.gtk.x86_64.tar.gz and zend-loader-php5.6-linux-x86_64_update1.tar.gz.
I installed the ZendGuardloader.so and opache.so in /usr/local/lib/Zend, then I change the php5.ini with aditionasl lines

zend_extension=/usr/local/lib/Zend/ZendGuardLoader.so
zend_extension=/usr/local/lib/Zend/opache.so
zend_loader.enable=1
zend_loader.disable_licensing=0

After restart apache2 there is no effect. I don't know what I have to do with ZendGuard 7 ?

I use Debian 7 (Wheezy) Linux debian 3.2.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.102-1 x86_64 GNU/Linux
PHP 5.6 PHP 5.6.38-1~dotdeb+zts+7.1 (cli) (built: Sep 14 2018 08:45:39) Zend Engine v2.6.0, with Zend OPcache v7.0.6-dev,
Apache2 Server version: Apache/2.2.22 (Debian) Server built: May 28 2018 16:04:22

Thanks in advance
Walter

is it a free download?

are you locked into Zend or do you have the option /desire to use other solutions if available.
