Hi, I tried to install Debian on my laptop and I cannot continue the installation because I can't go over this error.
Some Info:
PC: Lenovo 320s-141kb
Network card: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 802.11ac
Debian: stable non-free https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unof ... 4/iso-dvd/
Other distros work: Ubuntu, Mint, Elementary.
I tried different ISOs of Debian but same error.

Re: Network card not detected during installation
That card should be supported by the firmware-atheros package but perhaps stretch doesn't have the correct ID.
Try the buster RC1 installer instead.

Re: Network card not detected during installation
Did you try the RC1 image that includes non-free firmware?
Did you check TTY4 for any error messages that might be useful?

Solved!!
I forgot to delete an old swap partition which interfered with the installation: strange problem.

That's great! Can you please edit your first post in the thread, and add [SOLVED] to the front of the header.themo wrote:Solved!!
