D-10 install -- dropbox startup | CLOSED | SOLVED

in my startup box I found a start for dropbox -- but -- dropbox doesn't seem to be setup quite right

in the .dropbox-dist there is an executable: dropboxd -- which I suppose is the daemon. anyway: if I start that, dropbox goes active.

should I just put a pointer to that in my startup menu ?

Yes, it (~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd) is daemon: wiki.debian.org: dropbox

putting dropboxd in the start menu w/ 15 sec delay seems to have fixed this issue
