10.2 install if press enter on root password

Postby delina » 2020-02-04 15:50

when doing a new install and it asks for the root password
if you press enter there does not seem to be a way to back up on the menu and put in a root password.

I had to reboot and start the install over to put in root password.

Did the system install correctly? Still should have. Once you boot the new system, log on as root and set your password to the new one with the "passwd" command from a terminal.

if you don't enter the root password, the system sets you up with sudo instead.
