I just received a new laptop, and want to install Debian.
First thing first, here is my configuration:
ASUS VivoBook (N580GD-E4045T)
- Intel Core i7-8750H
- 16 GB DDR4
- GeForce GTX 1050 (4 GB)
- SSD 256 GB + HDD 1TO
Windows 10 was already on the SSD, so install of Debian on the HDD.
Debian version: debian-live-10.4.0-amd64-kde
The install went well, no issue.
But when I try to boot on Debian, I have this error:
watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#10 stuck for 23s! [kworker/10:1:118]
Of course, I "googled" this before asking, but I could not find something really relevant, and I rather have your opinion before trying some stuffs.
It seems to be a hardware issue, but I would appreciate the isolate the issue.
Thanks for any details or informations you can provide me.
Regards,
