Hi
After several years of installing Linux now getting new error but couldn't know how to handle it.

here is my source list:
Code: Select all

Since I live in Iran, I set in a way that the nearest location fetches updates. Always this method worked for me but now even my new and old server is not working.

here are the update command results:

Also, I change the domain name to IP address via ping command but also that wasn't worked for me.
Almost for about two weeks, I got stuck in this situation and need urgent help. Please let me know if anyone experienced this situation.

Try the cdn ones

Code: Select all
deb http://cdn-fastly.deb.debian.org/debian stable main
deb http://cdn-fastly.deb.debian.org/debian-security stable/updates main

ref http://deb.debian.org/

fastly is an American company though they might have an embargo against traffic originating from Iran. I don't know.

Hi
Thanks for your prompt reply
regretable this CDN not worked for me. Here is the result:
Code: Select all
root@ns1:~# apt-get update
0% [Connecting to cdn-fastly.deb.debian.org] [Connecting to ftp.de.debian.org] [Connecting to security.debian.org] [Connecting to deb.debian.org] [Connecting to ftp.cz.deb

comment out all entries in sources.list and in all files under /etc/apt/sources.d/
leave just the cdn entries in the sources.list and then check with
Code: Select all
apt update

I've been hearing about network traffic blocking from within Iran. I believe some chat application protocols have also been disallowed.

You have far too many entries in /etc/apt/sources.list. You have both Buster and Jessie, perhaps more that I didn't see, and the same Buster repositories many times. Get rid of the duplicates. If that doesn't solve your problem, and it may not, it may be an issue with your service provider.
Take my advice, I'm not using it.
