unable to install debian on lenovo t520

Hello
Please help me. I am unable to install debian from usb.

I tried to install Debian: stable, testing and non-free-drivers https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/.
I installed Windows without any issues from usb.

I'm surprised no one has answered this so I'll pipe in with my experiences of my t520

booting from USB works... but my t520 has a whitelisted bios. afaict.

I was at the point of binning it as it was so crap. Then I flashed the bios..... great machine everything works even my libre wifi card

I did back up the bios that I flashed it with..... somewhere. I know this as I accidentally saw it a few weeks a go

I have alreadt flashed BIOS Update Utility for Windows 8 (32-bit, 64-bit), 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit), XP - ThinkPad T520 and T520i 1.4926 Jun 2018 but it did not help me.




When I try do flash LenovoT520 T520i 1.49 Mod.7z it says BIOS image file is same as BIOS ROM. An update is not necessary at this time.
