Dual booting Macbook Pro

I am attempting to dial boot OSX and Debain on a Macbook Pro 2020. I am attempting to add kernal parameters for the graphical install. However, I don't have a cntrl key and the command button doesn't do anything when I press that and x to boot. Is there a work around that doesn't involve a usb keyboard? Thanks in advance.

What does this have to do with dual boot ?
Can't you press F10 instead of Ctrl+X ?
