This script patches official Debian ISO image to make it install faster.
Debian installer software writes data with force syncronization of each written file to disk. This is a default feature of apt/dpkg, to ensure system state and consistency in case of sudden power loss during package manipulation.
However this feature makes ISO installer insanely slower than it should be, and it's pointless for the OS installation stage.
You can fix the ISOs by patching it with a script.

Patched ISO archive is available as well.

Re: Slow Debian installation process? Look here!
No... look here: siduction
You will note the first three letters are "sid". The 'real' debian.
Installs as fast as you can enter your requirements.
BAM...done.
And...you don't have to waste everyones time asking how to get the latest and greatest whatever available from debian.
Or... Even better, you can have siduction/debian combo as I have.
