Cant setup video in debian latest distribution!!!

I have a compaq presario with an intel 845 video chipset in my set and its not offered as a choice in setting up the video
What do I use in the setup configuration?

i dont know which exact presario you have, but here:

are installations on many compaqs described.

have a look there, maybe you find your notebook and the install process.

Mine isnt a laptop ,to be exact its a s6100nx wi a microstar ms6577 board

the driver in your XF86Config-4 file should be "i810".
do you run sarge?
