CD/DVD

#1 Post by Payaso »

When I try to use either the CDRW or DVD there is a problem:
file:/mnt/cdrom1 does not exist. Same for DVD

I have been writing CD's with K3b (thats a great app) but would like to be able to do more.

Debian 2.6.6 (from Knoppix)

What to do?

try logging in as root and creating the directory by 'mkdir /mnt/cdrom1'

pasting your /etc/fstab and knowing if this is the only your cdrom would also be helpfull.
