No HDD?

#1 Post by Pdinc09 »

I have a Western Digital SATA 160GB HDD that I already have 2 windows partitions on. I left around 40GB raw for a linux flavor, and I settled on debian. I boot it from disk, it works fine through network config, but when I get to the partition manager it shows up my card readers instead of my HDD?! And there is no HDD activity through the steps until this point.

Do I need to use a special command or anything? And also, can I get debian up and running using the first disk only?
