I just got done installing Sarge from the net install cd. I went to add some modules to the kernel and modconf simply isn't there. I get an error in the bash shell telling me that modconf is an unknown command. I can't find it using which or whereis either.
I'm pretty much a newbie to Debian yet, but in the about a dozen installs I've done so far I had never seen modconf come up missing after an install. Anyone know how and why this happens?
I've had a few quirky things happen that really can't be explained. Mostly during the installation or right after I'll know somethings not quite right. If I just built the system I'll just re-run the install.
