Using Debian with Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe wireless edition

I'm Debian newbie and like to move from Suse9.1 zu Debian Sid.

Should Debian Sid support this mainboard? S-ATA? NIC?

It doesn't look like you're going to get an answer here. I'm another newbie too so I can't give you an answer either, but I would suggest that you try the Debian mailing lists. You can subscribe to them at the Debian website. I've gotten a lot of answers from the Debian user mailing list.

It uses a nforce motherboard. My dad has the same without the wireless. The SATA, sound and network things are covered by a standaard kernel (worked nice for me... only the sounds can give you some trouble). Just use the rc2 installer of sarge. That can be found here

I don't know about the wireless though.....
