Two linux's - Fedora2 and debian

#1 Post by Guest »

I have Fedora 2 and winxp installed and I want to install debian as well.
If I would download the Netinstall image, with Debian base, [i386] , what will happen to GRUB? do I need to do some changes?
I'm afraid I'll get stuck!

thanx

It's like Fedora when you can configure Grub. At a moment, in the Fedora installation, Anaconda asks you to configure the bootloader or not and go to the next step. In Debian, it's the same, you can configure Grub, install it on MBR or the root partition or nothing to do.
You Grub is already installed so, you choose nothing to do when Debian asks you to configure it. After, you launch Fedora and reconfigure Grub to add a new entry for Debian.
