Hello, iam trying to install debian sarge on a machine that has SATA disks.
This doesnt work, it doesnt sees any hd.

does anyone know what i can do to make it work?

Try using a 2.6.x kernel when booting the CD with the command; 'linux26' (Type linux26 and hit enter instead of just hitting enter at the boot prompt)

Also note that a SATA disk will be seen as a SCSI disk so the device will be /dev/sdX and not /dev/hdX.
