Hi, i want to try debian but:(

i now use mandrake 10 on one machine and want to try other distros as wel.

so i installed debian but on the place i have to tel what needs to be installed
it went wrong i use the wrong buton and now i do not know what is installed
i only know that x is not installed. if i type startx it gives command not found.

how to move from here to te place to be??

Login as root and type in base-config and choose desktop (or something like that) when it ask what kind of system you would want. Hope it helps.
