problems with mkisofs

i have compiled the 2.4.29 kernel.
now i want to make a bootable cd.
when i use mkisofs i get the error
size of boot image is 2236 sectors -> mkisofs:
error -boot image ... has not an alloable size

can someone help me

What are you using as boot image and what is your exact command line? Maybe using non-matching parameters (like a 1.44 Floppy image and no-emulation booting)?
