Package Signing

#1 Post by sprucio »

Is Debian planning to do package signing at all?

It looks like almost all distros are doing this except Debian. I recall Debian's site being hacked sometime ago and although the packages were not altered, I would assume that something like this should be done.

Any thoughts?

Debian does have this, if you're running unstable:

That's a pretty neat site I must say.

So I guess I'll have to wait till this is ported over to etch.

I love hearing good news.
