hi,
I am working on mime type file associations.
to associate a file for a application the ~/.local/share/applications/defaults.list and
~/.local/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache files should be updated, but this files are not updated in my system.
I hope to uptade these files the /usr/bin/update-desktop-database file should be called after installing the .desktop file.
How to call the update-desktop-databse file from the code.
