[Solved] Partimage

#1 Post by ghostdawg »

I've made a couple of images of my debian 32 & 64 bit versions using partimage.

After reading about this, I see something along the lines of it makes the image using only the data information and not the whole partition size.

Both partitions have 20gb total size but the total installation around 12gb. When it comes time to restore the images, and i create a new 20gb partition will I have full access to the complete 20gb partition again?

I thought I seen someplace that it may not have full access to a size too large. This is my first time trying this.

Thnx

I went ahead and created my images and since then reformatted & partition my hard drive.

The restore went without much issues though I did have trouble at one point.
