Debian DVD shellshock fix
Debian DVD shellshock fix
Today I torrented the amd64 DVD for Debian, found here https://www.debian.org/CD/torrent-cd/. I checked for the bash vulnerability and it said that it was vulnerable. I've updated bash since but I think that doing so lowers iptables for a short time and I'd like to be able to totally install without doing so. Can anyone give me a clue as to when the DVD will be updated?
Re: Debian DVD shellshock fix
The DVD gets updated with each actual point release, not every single patch.
As has been discussed in an existing thread, the "Shellshock" bug is proving harder to fix than folks initially imagined. That is to say, even the first "fix" has problems all its own.
