Hello
I am running Debian 7 on vmware now.Recently I decided to install Debian on dual boot but i have too much open source software (I do not want to build it again) and my own programs so I would want to generate iso image of my vmware system and to install it on dual boot.I tried to use relinux but it did not work.
Please, recommend me software to do that.
Thank you for any help!

Have a look at Refracta and their refractasnapshot tool.

What about this tutorial? It makes use of CLI tools, which could aid in automating the process of generating updates for your ISO in the long run. (I'm shamelessly quasi-commandeering your thread because I wanted to inquire about this topic as well, but simply haven't had the time.)

And here I would want to ask if there is better solution for instalation of live dvd than Refracta Installer?

Re: Help with custom iso creation
It depends on the method used to create the ISO. Systemback uses the systemback installer, for example.

Depends on what kind of installation you want to do. Refracta installer gives you some options like separate partitions or encryption, but there are limitations, such as no lvm and only ext2/3/4 filesystems.
