What do you change in iceweasel's 'about:config'?

Analysing the latest few versions Firefox/Iceweasel for resource use and performance tentatively indicates there is a trend for higher resource requirments. This, sadly, has also been mentioned in at least a thread posted to these fora. So, the question arises as to how Debian users, especially those who cannot boast of investing in the latest hardware on the market, cope with the 'unwelcome' changes.

What do you change in iceweasel's about:config?
