Postby bookie » 2016-07-23 12:50

Hi guys!
I have Trusty 14.04 lts xfce.
Up and till a couple of months back I had a cairo-dock weather applet that worked....but no I just have a useless icon...;)
I have looked at different threads but there is always information lacking....?

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks

No matter what the distro, older weather applets often break as the information providers change their API or go out of business. The solution is to try and update the applet to a working version, usually by backporting.
The MX Linux repositories: Backports galore! If we don't have something, just ask and we'll try--we like challenges. New packages: GIMP 2.10.4, Pale Moon 27.9.4, wine-staging 3.12, MPC-QT 18.03, Linux kernel 4.17.6, Krita 4.1.1

Hi stevepusser!
Thanks for your time....
Shame that something that works gets left behind....can that be what they call progress...;)
