Has liquorix come to an end?

#1 Post by Bulkley »

Have we seen the last of the Liquorix kernels? Their site seems to have gone quiet. Their sources go 404.

Yes, it does. Where did you get it? None of the sources on their Web page work.

I just entered the URL for the repository (https://liquorix.net/debian/) in my browser and navigated through "pool/" → "main/" → "l/"

EDIT: what do you mean by "don't work"?

Do you have any errors when you update the repositories?

When I enter your link into my address bar it brings up a set of directories. When I do the same with those on the Liquorix home page I get:
Not Found

The requested URL /debian sid main was not found on this server.

Leave off the " sid main" part of the address, those aren't part of the URL--more like arguments that apt recognizes to get the right files.

Oh, right. I'm having a dose of absent mindedness. Ouch. Comes with the grey hair.

What started me wondering is that there is so little activity on the Liquorix forum. I'm used to seeing all sorts of noise about each new release. Maybe it's summer vacation or some other distraction. Anyway, we can close this for now. Thanks both.
