identify chip bios
Re: identify chip bios
That is a very very risky procedure. So I gonna change the chip BIOS.
If you do NOT know exactly what kind of soldering is used and you are not equipped with the right soldering and desoldering equipment, my take on it, is to abandon this idea altogether. Modern soldering is not repair friendly like legacy soldering that used to melt nicely at a safe temperature that most electronic components tolerated. These days, it is common to find lead free "soldering" that requires a higher temperature to melt (> 200 Celcius) and is much less tolerant to 'unclean' surfaces.
Some motherboards permit you to flash the UEFI or BIOS as soon as they are powered up. This avoids using the BIOS or UEFI if it is damaged allowing a technician to flash the right BIOS or UEFI. Obviously, a combination of keys is to be pressed for this to happen. I remember once I had also to remove the battery for the procedure to work.

This is good advice, also removing all ac power and battery, and clear. Either way you decide to go, I think you need to id the motherboard first. Some motherboards permit you to flash the UEFI or BIOS as soon as they are powered up.
Once it's fixed, it will make a really good linux machine. Not much info found, but keep an eye on these, or edit yourself to help others.
