Why I love Debian

#1 Post by bigrigdriver »

Last night I installed Jessie on a 14 year old Dell Inspiron (had to use 32bit version). Deleted all the Micro$oft junk the wife had on it, repartitioned, and used the netinst .iso. During hardware detection, Jessie informed me the battery is failing and needs to be replaced. But with the power cord attached, it rocks, albeit at a slower pace.
Thank you everyone at Debian for making that possible.
