Hi guys, I am very pleased to say to all of you that on Debian Firefox 54 is now really multi-process, for the ones who still like the red panda (like me) it is an impressive step forward, more info below:

I forgot to add:

about:support
Application Basics
Name Firefox
Version 54.0
Build ID 20170614015614
Update History
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0
OS Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64
Profile Directory
Enabled Plugins about:plugins
Build Configuration about:buildconfig
Memory Use about:memory
Performance about:performance
Registered Service Workers about:serviceworkers
Multiprocess Windows 2/2 (Enabled by default)
Google Key Missing
Mozilla Location Service Key Found

If you have many extensions you have to remove the ones that disable the multiprocess windows, currently I have active the ones below:

  • Ghostery
  • HTTPS Everywhere
  • Prevent Tab Overflow
  • Private tab
  • Session Manager
  • uBlock Origin
  • Video Download Helper
If you can't fork then hold you in silence.
