Hello to everyone.
Time ago, I had installed Salome-meca, by following the procedure in it's website.
https://www.code-aster.org/V2/spip.php?article303
it's very simple, just extract the file and run the "run" file. It create a folder, and a shortcut in the application menu.
Now, I have intalled the newer version of the software, and I remove the older one simply by deleting it's folder. Now I have both software on the application menu, how can I completely remove the older one?
Thank you, have a nice day

Re: Update external software
Look for the shortcut in /usr/share/applications or in /home/[youruser]/.local/share/applications if you installed it locally.
