Hi

Wrt
https://www.zdnet.com/article/ballmer-i ... i-love-it/

Server winner: Linux/Unix
Desktop winner: Windows
Mobile winner: Android

If only the projects like Ubuntu, Linux Mint, fedora, opensuse, Manjaro and a few others ... collaborated to make a single Desktop Linux version, with good hardware support and easy installation, it would have atleast made a mark for linux, in the desktop market, nearly 10 years ago. Sometimes unity, in one project is far more better then multi divisions.

Still Laptop and Desktop are highly used and seem to remain, and a good Desktop Linux project still can move in as a good competitor!

Thankyou!
:)

Yet another market share thread. It doesn't matter and Linux doesn't care.

Majority of desktop users are conned into using an insecure OS. My only comment is - that's sad. And it costs billions of dollars annually to deal with the damage inflicted by pwned Windows PC's. In perfect world we live not.
