When I'm writing my password for forums.Debian.net it warns with a dialogue popup that the website is not secure.
Why is the site insecure? I came to Debian for security among other things.

As for the "unprotected site", it's already been discussed in two forum topics:

Looks like whoever runs the site is a die-hard http guy.
