Why does it complaint about Debian Forums site unprotected ?

When I'm writing my password for forums.Debian.net it warns with a dialogue popup that the website is not secure.
Why is the site insecure? I came to Debian for security among other things.

And I can't upload attachment for a picture of a warning dialogue .
"Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

As for the "unprotected site", it's already been discussed in two forum topics:
Why not even a self-signed HTTPS certificate?
Debian Forum security issue?
Looks like whoever runs the site is a die-hard http guy.
